TASSO Regional Meetings

Just a friendly reminder of the TASSO Regional Meetings being held on the 10, 11 and 12 March 2020.

IF YOU OR ANY OTHER PERSON WISH TO PARTICIPATE CAN YOU PLEASE RSVP ME NO LATER THAN THURSDAY 5 MARCH 2020

Members of your School Association, including school staff, parents, carers and any member of the community are invited to attend a TASSO information session and networking opportunity in your region.

Guest Speaker – Denise Foggo – Manager Differentiation and Diversity, Disability Services, Department of Education.  Denise’s leads professional development with schools and support staff plus undertakes Learning Plan audits in all schools. Learning Plans are an important tool used by teachers to help personalise learning to help students reach their fullest potential. 

In addition to the guest speaker, a TASSO representative will also discuss the important role of school associations, how to get involved, tips for school association committees and the role of TASSO.

Light refreshments will be provided, and children are welcome.

Queechy School Association BBQ

Queechy School Association Welcome BBQ:

All families are warmly invited to our Welcome Back BBQ for 2020 at Queechy High School, hosted by our Queechy School Association.
• Tuesday 11 February
• 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

This is a chance for parents and guardians to have informal conversations with the teachers of your children in 2020. This BBQ is for all parents across all grades.

Year 10 parents will also have the opportunity to attend an information session commencing at
6:30 p.m. in the Library. This meeting will cover important information about your child’s final year at Queechy High School and our year 11 program for 2021.

School-Wide Mobile Phone Ban

Dear Parents/Guardians

Please be advised that our school wide mobile phone ban will begin from term 1, 2020. All mobile devices are to be stored in lockers for the duration of the day. If this cannot happen, we strongly advise students to keep devices at home.
Any contact made with students during school hours, will need to be made through our Queechy High School office on: 6341 4455 or via our SchoolZine App.
