Maths
Building on their earlier work with algebraic expressions and solving linear equations, our Grade 7 students are now exploring the Cartesian plane—a key concept that connects algebra and geometry while strengthening spatial reasoning and problem-solving skills.
In class, students are learning how to navigate the Cartesian plane, they’re practicing how to plot and identify points using coordinates and exploring how these points fall into one of four quadrants depending on the signs of the numbers.
Beyond plotting points, students are beginning to interpret linear relationships visually and connect graphs to real-life scenarios. These activities help them see how mathematics applies to the world around them and lays the groundwork for more advanced topics in algebra and data analysis.
