Science
This term, our Grade 9 students have been diving into the fascinating world of physics- at the moment we are focusing on electricity. They've been learning how electric circuits work, investigating the flow of current and exploring the roles of voltage and resistance in everyday devices.
A highlight for 9E has been the building of an electromagnetic motor, which was difficult to complete as it was very precise and fiddly. The completed motors demonstrate how electric current can produce motion. Student creativity and problem solving skills were on full display as we worked hard to get our motors to work.
